Trip to the pumpkin patch

We took Rio over to the pumpkin patch this weekend, here are a few pictures. She was actually much more interested in the hay on the the floor then she was in the pumpkins. Guess that's what happens when your pumpkin patch is actually a parking lot for most of the year. Rio is pretty excited about her first Holloween on Saturday, and her first Birthday party on Sunday, she is especially looking forward Oma, Opa, Grandma, and Grandpa being here to celebrate it all with her. We can't wait to visit with everyone, it should make for a great weekend. We will post pictures of everything next week. We miss you all and are going to do our best to make it back East in December for a visit, we will keep you posted.

So we took Rio to the pumpkin patch today, I will post better pictures
later. However, if you look closely at the picture below you will see

Rio is feeling much better but can't go back to daycare until Thursday, this made for an impromptu daddy/daughter day.

Turks and Caicos Family Trip

We all had a great time in Turks and Caicos, Rio loved spending time with her cousins, aunt and uncle, and Oma and Opa. Can't wait to see everyone again.
